From a short distance, Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto, in the 8th minute, tried to place the ball behind Damian Trzaskoma, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Damian Trzaskoma made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Hermengildo Gartzi sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes FEYENOORD Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Montay. Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Rubio in the 13th minute of play. If Ruperto Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Abel Dayam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Trzaskoma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damian Trzaskoma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Gartzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. If Aurelio Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 林西翀 might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Nuno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 林西翀 ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquilino Nuno came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FEYENOORD Sporting's Ruperto Caradaro. But to his dismay, Ruperto Caradaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. FEYENOORD Sporting's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Aurelio Honesto scored to the left of an out of position Damian Trzaskoma, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Rubio in the 41st minute of play forced Newbery FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Newbery FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hermengildo Gartzi hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Albino Oskarbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marcelo Rubio made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Abel Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newbery FC and the FEYENOORD Sporting players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Newbery FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! 林西翀 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Nuno having to interfere. A collision led to Newbery FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Santos Baudelio hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Aurelio Honesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Trzaskoma was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. FEYENOORD Sporting made a substitution. Silverio Leguizamón replaced Santo Herensuge. Newbery FC's Everardo Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Silverio Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FEYENOORD Sporting's protests and gave Silverio Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes FEYENOORD Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Leguizamón. Clemente Montay charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Montay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Clemente Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes Geronimo Elorri shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Damian Trzaskoma when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Marcelo Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FEYENOORD Sporting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newbery FC the free kick. The supporters of Newbery FC booed when FEYENOORD Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baldomiro Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newbery FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Newbery FC's Baldomiro Abechuco got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Marcelo Rubio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Newbery FC defense, Marcelo Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Nuno. The Newbery FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Nuno should have stopped the shot. FEYENOORD Sporting's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Newbery FC had won, even though FEYENOORD Sporting had held more of the ball.
