After a defensive mix-up in ClubAtléticoIndependiente's zone, Ermegildo Gaztea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Bazkoare came out of the goal and Ermegildo Gaztea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Pirro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Rico Limon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Matias Bazkoare to make any attempt to save it. If Ermegildo Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Krabbé got a corner. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimeno Maiorga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matias Bazkoare didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Matias Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Limon in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ermegildo Gaztea took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Matias Bazkoare to make any attempt to save it. If Rico Limon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rico Limon to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Krabbé defense, Reynaldo Cesario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Palban. The Krabbé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Palban should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rico Limon in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Bazkoare saved ClubAtléticoIndependiente from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rico Limon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Bazkoare was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Matias Bazkoare came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Krabbé's David Aliuta. But to his dismay, David Aliuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 68 minutes into the match, ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goal looked a bit too open when Rico Limon came free, but Matias Bazkoare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rico Limon's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Matias Bazkoare on his right side and into the goal. 71 minutes into the game it was 7-1. Rico Limon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rico Limon in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Bazkoare came out of the goal and David Aliuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Rico Limon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Limon in the 96th minute of the match. After 97 minutes of play, Krabbé's Ermegildo Gaztea made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Bazkoare was left in no man's land by his defense there!
