Spectators: 7326 (Terracing: 5496, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delmar Feliu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Delmar Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Sporting's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Feliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Checa got free with Eleuterio Frichoso in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Delmar Feliu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rolando Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Frichoso came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Sporting's Rolando Checa. But to his dismay, Rolando Checa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Delmar Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eleuterio Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Feliu in the 31st minute of play. Rolando Checa in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eleuterio Frichoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Delmar Feliu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Frichoso. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Delmar Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Llorenc hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Delmar Feliu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleuterio Frichoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Delmar Feliu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

c.a.parana's Eleuterio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Demesio in the 53rd minute of play. Delmar Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Frichoso having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Armando Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Delmar Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Sporting's Delmar Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Delmar Feliu took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Frichoso. Eleuterio Frichoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Rolando Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eleuterio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that C.A. Sporting were the better team. C.A. Sporting's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
