Jonathan Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. Sporting's Victor Iigo got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Feliu in the 16th minute of play forced RIO TALA's goalkeeper Ambrosio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Abreu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clayton Clayton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Feliu during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clayton Clayton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. Sporting's Eloy Mikelats got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 31 minutes, Victor Iigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Sporting and the RIO TALA players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Feliu in the 34th minute of play forced RIO TALA's goalkeeper Ambrosio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in RIO TALA's zone, Rolando Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Merexildo came out of the goal and Rolando Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIO TALA's goalkeeper Ambrosio Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Sporting's zone, Dario Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clayton Clayton came out of the goal and Dario Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clayton Clayton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Misael in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Feliu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Checa in the 55th minute. Clayton Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Misael in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, C.A. Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Misael came free, but Clayton Clayton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIO TALA's Ambrosio Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save RIO TALA from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Dario Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Clayton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, RIO TALA's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Feliu came free, but Ambrosio Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, RIO TALA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Delmar Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Sporting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Feliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Rolando Checa sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of C.A. Sporting:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RIO TALA:s goal. C.A. Sporting's Rolando Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RIO TALA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
