In the 6th match minute, Loncopué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Gau to maneuver through the defense. Donato Perico scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jonathan Izotz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIO TALA's protests and gave Jonathan Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Loncopué booed when RIO TALA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Abreu succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Leonardo Ciano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dario Abreu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. In the 25th minute Julian Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Leonardo Ciano managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when RIO TALA's Luis Misael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, Luis Misael made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Ciano. Loncopué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. RIO TALA's Ambrosio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gau in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RIO TALA's zone, Elpidio Iratzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Merexildo came out of the goal and Elpidio Iratzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Misael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Loncopué's Leonardo Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Abreu in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Luis Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIO TALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Misael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Leonel Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alvaro Rayman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Ciano. Loncopué's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ambrosio Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Julian Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Ciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Abreu in the 79th minute of play. Humberto Bernad kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jonathan Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Dario Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Fernanco's late challenge caught a RIO TALA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Fernanco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Loncopué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Ikatz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. RIO TALA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
