In the 5th minute, Laureano Ralondo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Lorenz. The goal made the score 1-0. Cristobal Lorenz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruperto Gizon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Artemio Aurken struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Melquiades Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hydra. In the 16th minute Benjamin Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Benjamin Elazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cristobal Lorenz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabricio Rubio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Gizon in the 29th minute of play forced Hydra's goalkeeper Cristobal Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Lorenz having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ruperto Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Lorenz. Hydra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Rubio was the one to do the kick off. Cristobal Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Melquiades Fiz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victorio Barros. Emilio Sanduru hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Emilio Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hydra's Alonzo Taurino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Melquiades Fiz but with some difficulty. Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Rubio in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Imperio del Sur's goalkeeper Melquiades Fiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Rubio. If Emilio Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Emilio Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hydra booed when Imperio del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imperio del Sur fully deserved thier win.
