Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Abalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Erdiano made a huge save. After 12 minutes of play, borussia dortmund's Nemesio Nafarroa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Luar was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ceferino Satordi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eleuterio Erdiano to make any attempt to save it. 26 minutes into the match, Ignacio Dalmai notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Solo Vélez's Osvaldo Luar. Osvaldo Luar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. borussia dortmund's Eleuterio Erdiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save borussia dortmund from getting a goal against them. Roberto Oidor's late challenge caught a Solo Vélez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Oidor helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Oidor hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes, Rodolfo Palben mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solo Vélez and the borussia dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Solo Vélez got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Palben. 41 minutes into the game, Ceferino Satordi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eleuterio Erdiano. Ceferino Satordi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Nafarroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Solo Vélez got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Ruy. 2-4 became the score in the 57th minute when Teofilo Rainerio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Teofilo Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. borussia dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Rainerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roberto Oidor came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the borussia dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Oidor couldn't finish the play. Cosme Ruy charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Ruy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Cosme Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Dalmai in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Miguel Abalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Eleuterio Erdiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Roberto Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Luar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sixto Ezkerra. In the 81st minute Cosme Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, borussia dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Abalos came free, but Eleuterio Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. borussia dortmund's Eleuterio Erdiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Satordi in the 84th minute of play. Angelo Su blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Luar having to make a save. Teofilo Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes, Solo Vélez's Jaime Oihenarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Erdiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Solo Vélez reached it. borussia dortmund's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
