Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silvestre Estefan made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Ampallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Gizon. In the 7th match minute, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Leoncio to maneuver through the defense. Anier Kimetz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Mark when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ampallo FC's Baltasar Garcia got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Ampallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Estefan came free, but Leopoldo Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Jacobo Telo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ampallo FC's Leopoldo Gaztea. Leopoldo Gaztea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Feliberto Ekaitz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Anier Kimetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Humberto Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Mark having to interfere. Leopoldo Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Estefan in the 27th minute of play. Serafino Lorien charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Lorien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 42 minutes, Modesto Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampallo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Bruno Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Humberto Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Kimetz in the 53rd minute of play. Bruno Bitxintxo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Bitxintxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Ampallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bitxintxo. Ampallo FC's Angelino Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Naelio came free, but Humberto Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ampallo FC made a substitution. Agustin Ubendu replaced Baltasar Garcia. Leopoldo Gaztea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Eyague in the 88th minute. Modesto Naelio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Humberto Mark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampallo FC. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's zone, Anier Kimetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Mark came out of the goal and Anier Kimetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ampallo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
