Reynaldo Nel charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pablo Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Agustin Quexal made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Garaona was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Eulalio Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Pablo Machado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Banachsoft FC's Agustin Quexal. After having played for 40 minutes, Guillermo Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banachsoft FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Christobal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Christobal was the one to do the kick off. Castaño AFC's Evaristo Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Castaño AFC from getting a goal against them. Agustin Quexal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Machado's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. A collision led to Castaño AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emilio Bastiaro hit a great ball. Francisco Jaen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Guillermo Christobal struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Evaristo Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banachsoft FC. Pablo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agustin Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Machado in the 89th minute of play forced Banachsoft FC's goalkeeper Agustin Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodolfo Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Jaen hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Rodolfo Leocadio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Evaristo Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Christobal in the 97th minute of play.
