Arnoldo Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Garaona having to interfere. When Anibal Abeita came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the LaButteler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Abeita couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Pablo Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Diaz. LaButteler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With 23 minutes on the clock, Santiago Bilintx commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 27th minute Florentino Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LaButteler's Marciano Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Jaen in the 30th minute of play. Alvaro Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Evaristo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Pablo Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marciano Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, Emilio Bastiaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castaño AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LaButteler the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Castaño AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the LaButteler defense, Florentino Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Diaz. The LaButteler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Diaz should have stopped the shot. Marciano Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Mantzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Francisco Jaen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marciano Diaz. The goal made the score 0-6. With a little luck, LaButteler's Marciano Diaz got control of the ball when Pablo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of LaButteler booed when Castaño AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Castaño AFC's Francisco Jaen made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Diaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marciano Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Alvaro Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Castaño AFC's Florentino Mantzio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marciano Diaz. That made the score 0-9 after 85 minutes of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Francisco Jaen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marciano Diaz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Castaño AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LaButteler.
