The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inocencio Rocendo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sapucai FC's Desiderio Inge. But to his dismay, Desiderio Inge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Inocencio Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Inge, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Club Comunicaciones getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Honorato Donostia hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes Sapucai FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Mon. Honorato Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Pacho hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Óscar Cardozo in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Peyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 31st minute, Aquiles Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Telo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Telo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Comunicaciones booed when Sapucai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Sapucai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Inge to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Inge to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sapucai FC's Isaac Aguilera got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eduardo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nicolas Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Sapucai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. When Eduardo Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Club Comunicaciones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Kelemen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Telo in the 66th minute of play forced Club Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Inocencio Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Óscar Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Comunicaciones's Inocencio Rocendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Club Comunicaciones from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, 邵傲铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Desiderio Inge fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sapucai FC's protests and gave Desiderio Inge a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Telo made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Desiderio Inge however managed to control. In the 87th minute, Marcelino Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Óscar Cardozo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Peyo. Nicolas Peyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
