The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeo Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Buinton having to interfere. If Ermegildo Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RENOS FC's Tomas Charro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ermegildo Sesuldo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Teodoro Buinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ceres. Delmiro Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Federico Soin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Ceres's zone, Amadeo Gaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Soin came out of the goal and Amadeo Gaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Sesuldo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Buinton saved RENOS FC from getting behind. Celestino Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Delmiro Sotero charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Sotero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes RENOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Sotero. Federico Soin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Amadeo Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of RENOS FC booed when Deportivo Ceres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Gilabert during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Cayetano Maureo from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Federico Soin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Deportivo Ceres getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Isidro Gilabert hit a great ball. Amadeo Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Ermegildo Sesuldo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ermegildo Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Ceres's Federico Soin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Ceres from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 51 played minutes RENOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Charro. After 53 played minutes RENOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Lizar. A hard shot by Leandro Chucho from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Teodoro Buinton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 58th minute Tomas Charro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 58 minutes into the game, Christian Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Ceres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RENOS FC the free kick. Christian Iratzeder hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, RENOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Sotero to maneuver through the defense. RENOS FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ermegildo Sesuldo 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Teodoro Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Telesforo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesar Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Buinton having to interfere. Delmiro Sotero got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ceferino Lizar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Deportivo Ceres's Leandro Chucho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teodoro Buinton but with some difficulty. If Cesar Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Ceres's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
