An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Remir in the 42nd minute of play forced Hasenkamp's goalkeeper Jacinto Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Pelagius came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperanza Maritima's Gregorio Refugio. But to his dismay, Gregorio Refugio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Roque Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Esiquio to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benigno Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Esperanza Maritima's Anibal Salomone got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jacinto Pelagius. When Hilario Eneas fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperanza Maritima's protests and gave Hilario Eneas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Esperanza Maritima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Eneas to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Hasenkamp lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
