With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Mikeldi in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Senen saved Sape FC from getting behind. After 11 minutes, Gualterio Erramun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sape FC and the Vitricidas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sape FC's German Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vitricidas getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nicolas Sendoa hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vitricidas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Salvador Dominix, was totally fooled by Sape FC's Luis Cresconio, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alvaro Senen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Mikeldi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Hernan Mikeldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Senen having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Vitricidas's Hernan Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Senen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Salvador Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 55 minutes, Igor Txaran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sape FC and the Vitricidas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vitricidas booed when Sape FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mikeldi in the 57th minute of play forced Sape FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luis Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sape FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cresconio couldn't finish the play. Sape FC's Alvaro Senen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Sape FC from getting a goal against them. Hernan Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Senen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Mikeldi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Senen saved Sape FC from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Vitricidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Bras to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sape FC's German Lucian got a free kick in the 88th minute. Salvador Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Cresconio in the 91st minute of play. If Bernabe Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sape FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Senen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vitricidas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sape FC.
