In the 11th minute, Atlético Sta. Clara's Elvio Tadzio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jim Gabrielsson. Jim Gabrielsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Elvio Tadzio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jim Gabrielsson to make any attempt to save it. Paulo Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Oskarbi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Gabrielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If Elvio Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Primitivo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAJA lechuzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
