With an all-out effort, Rodeo FC's Fulgencio Quinteros threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Maore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Esiquio got free with Fulgencio Quinteros in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alvaro Ospetsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Celino in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rodeo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eldorado AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
