Leonel Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Profundidad booed when Loma Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Anier Santiago took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leonel Chinto to make any attempt to save it. Hipolito Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Chinto having to interfere. The supporters of Loma Negra booed when Profundidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Chinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Benino in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Loma Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Oxel came free, but Gaston Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Silvio Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Musko to strike the kick off in the second half. Nereo Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Loma Negra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Profundidad's Ovidio Cambranes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Ritchie, made in the 61st minute of the game. After having played for 66 minutes, Hipolito Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loma Negra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Profundidad got a freekick which was hit by Hector Bittor. In the 68th minute Anier Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Profundidad's Leonel Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Santiago in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Godfredo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loma Negra's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Loma Negra's goalkeeper Gaston Irrintzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Musko. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Oxel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Irrintzi. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Denis Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Faustino Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Loma Negra booed when Profundidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball.
