Higinio Tauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Lucero in the 17th minute of play forced F.C. MAGIKE's goalkeeper Higinio Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Eulalio Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Tauro having to interfere. Eulalio Vergaray received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaston Irrintzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Eulalio Vergaray slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. MAGIKE's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Santiago came free, but Higinio Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Tauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Pelagius's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Anier Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Santiago in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loma Negra's Anier Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-4 became the score in the 58th minute when Anier Santiago elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Higinio Tauro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anier Santiago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 68 minute of play. MAGIKE getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ermegildo Flores hit a great ball. Eulalio Vergaray's late challenge caught a Loma Negra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Vergaray helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, F.C. MAGIKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Loma Negra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. MAGIKE throughout the match.
