The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Vinicio Modestio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolikas Liolidis in the 9th minute of the match. Vinicio Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Poremba in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Deportivo Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Millan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Tibalt in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Modestio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Norte's Vinicio Modestio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolikas Liolidis in the 14th minute of play. Brama Brama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Gartzi in the 15th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Abarca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brama Brama, 1-0. Israel Gartzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Brama Brama made a huge save. Vinicio Modestio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Tibalt went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 34thth minute of the game Marcelo Tibalt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Norte's Vinicio Modestio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Modestio having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcelo Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matute Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Modestio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Tibalt struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Abarca was the one to do the kick off. Marek Poremba was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Matute Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 54 played minutes Matute Fc got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Godoy. After 55 played minutes, Deportivo Norte's Felix Oliverios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brama Brama came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Norte reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Tibalt in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Modestio saved Deportivo Norte from getting behind. Angelo Millan's late challenge caught a Matute Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Millan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Norte getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelo Millan hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Marcelo Tibalt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Modestio. Marcelo Tibalt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Brama Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Gartzi in the 72nd minute of the match. Matute Fc's Marcelo Tibalt got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apostolikas Liolidis got free with Vinicio Modestio in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Modestio came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Matute Fc's Marcelo Tibalt. But to his dismay, Marcelo Tibalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Marcelo Tibalt sped through Deportivo Norte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Modestio. Matute Fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
