After 8 minutes, Diego Iraido made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Pim Pero made a precise shot to the right of Damian Ralondo. Luca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Cecilio Selmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Neanderthal's goalkeeper Julian Egoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Castel. Damian Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pim Pero in the 28th minute of the match. When Perry Desforges fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neanderthal's protests and gave Perry Desforges a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Neanderthal got a freekick which was hit by Perry Desforges. Eleuterio Lano's late challenge caught a Luca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Lano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Luca's Nicolas Arixo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pim Pero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Ralondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Pim Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neanderthal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Nicolas Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julian Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Romeo Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Iraido to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Pim Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neanderthal made a substitution. Lino Liher replaced Pim Pero. In the 60th minute, Astor Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nicolas Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Damian Ralondo made a huge save. Luca's Damian Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Liher in the 75th minute of play. Damian Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Liher's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Damian Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lugo in the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Lino Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Luca's zone, Lino Liher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Ralondo came out of the goal and Lino Liher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Lino Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neanderthal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
