Deportivo Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Annuit Cœptis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Rayman to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Honrio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Shantala in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Modestio saved Deportivo Norte from getting behind. Severiano Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Joaquin Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Shantala came free, but Vinicio Modestio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joaquin Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulises Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Vinicio Modestio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Abarca to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Joaquin Shantala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Joaquin Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Ulises Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Modestio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ulises Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annuit Cœptis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Urtungo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Modestio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Norte's Vinicio Modestio got control of the ball when Joaquin Shantala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Annuit Cœptis FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
