When Pim Pero came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Neanderthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pim Pero couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Pim Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neanderthal's supporters rose to their feet, but Pim Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Pim Pero made a precise shot to the right of Justino Ordono. Abbott AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Justino Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pim Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Florencio Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abbott AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neanderthal the free kick. After 21 played minutes Abbott AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Sotero. In the 27thth minute of the game Pim Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abbott AFC's Justino Ordono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Neanderthal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Rafel to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play Abbott AFC's Florencio Sotero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 33 played minutes Abbott AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Sotero. Pim Pero struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Justino Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neanderthal. Benjamin Florin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Evarado to strike the kick off in the second half. Pim Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Evarado in the 62nd minute of the match. Julian Egoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Evarado in the 63rd minute. Romulo Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Neanderthal's Lino Liher was substituted for Pim Pero. The supporters of Abbott AFC booed when Neanderthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Marcelo Evarado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbott AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Evarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Neanderthal booed when Abbott AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Abbott AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Rafel during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Abbott AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Neanderthal:s goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Neanderthal had played much better football throughout.
