Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Matute Fc's Marcelo Tibalt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Pim Pero came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Neanderthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pim Pero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Neanderthal's Eleuterio Lano got a free kick in the 9th minute. Brama Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lugo in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Lano during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Matute Fc got a freekick which was hit by Apostolikas Liolidis. In the 27th minute, Vicente Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Pim Pero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brama Brama showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Pim Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neanderthal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pim Pero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pim Pero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brama Brama. Matute Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matute Fc's Vicente Manilan got a free kick in the 41st minute. Brama Brama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Lugo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Lugo made a kick off. Rodrigo Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vicente Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matute Fc's protests and gave Vicente Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Manilan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Neanderthal's Lino Liher was substituted for Pim Pero. The supporters of Neanderthal booed when Matute Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Manilan got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes Matute Fc got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Manilan. A collision led to Matute Fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vicente Manilan hit a great ball. Brama Brama acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lino Liher. After 71 minutes of play, Neanderthal's Lino Liher made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brama Brama was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Liher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolikas Liolidis in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Matute Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Liher came free, but Brama Brama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Tibalt in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Eleuterio Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brama Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
