In the 7th minute, Eustacio Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Lehoi made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Silverio Eleazar sent off a good shot on target. When Gaspar Quirze came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pintó la locura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Quirze couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Chicoana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Oihenarte. Silverio Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Manuel Eufrasio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Lehoi. Chicoana AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Eufrasio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Chicoana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Pintó la locura's Maximiliano Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Cordera in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Weterio in the 34th minute of play forced Pintó la locura's goalkeeper Maximiliano Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Oihenarte in the 35th minute of play. Marcos Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Artemio Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Astor Oihenarte hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Chicoana AFC's Eustacio Cordera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Virila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Maximiliano Virila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Weterio in the 58th minute. Eustacio Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pintó la locura's Maximiliano Virila got control of the ball when Eustacio Cordera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Virila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Weterio in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Marcos Weterio could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Maximiliano Virila however easily saved by the left post. If Eustacio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Eustacio Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicoana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Cordera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Virila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Weterio came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximiliano Virila could save by the left post. If Eustacio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Maximiliano Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Lertxun hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Virila made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Eustacio Cordera sent off a good shot on target. Chicoana AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
