Matias Belo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Gaitan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Prudencio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Aquiles Evis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prudencio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Evis went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

With a little luck, Casares's Prudencio Gaitan got control of the ball when Aquiles Evis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Belo in the 88th minute of play forced Casares's goalkeeper Prudencio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Casares's Narciso Lon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Guifre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Rufio came free, but Lázaro Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
