Jeronimo Gurutz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Talleres Cba.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Evis came free, but Cirilo Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Guifre made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Robustiano Cordareo sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Mambru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA were furious when Braulio Pelayo was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 51 minutes into the game, one of INDEPENDIENTE AVELLANEDA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 97th minute of the match, Matias Belo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cirilo Curcio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
