Gregorio Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. Sidney Ashford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jesus Heli hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Gust Vanden Bussche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Gilabert skillfully saved the ball. Sidney Ashford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Mincho's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A collision led to Guascan AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya hit a great ball. If Anier Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Rios in the 31st minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Silvio Mincho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guascan AFC's Sidney Ashford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Julian Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flori FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Ashford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sidney Ashford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 85th minute Anier Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Mincho ran back to his position shaking his head. If Silvio Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Mincho in the 95th minute of play forced Guascan AFC's goalkeeper Sidney Ashford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lou Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flori FC fully deserved thier win.
