The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Sidney Ashford successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sidney Ashford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Sanson's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Godfredo Sanson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney Ashford. The Rosario FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rosario FC's Enzo Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidney Ashford had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Godfredo Sanson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 25th minute of the match Gust Vanden Bussche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Ekain skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Anier Rios notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rosario FC's Ricardo Ekain. Ricardo Ekain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Delmiro Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Guascan AFC booed when Rosario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Jokin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidney Ashford was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Enzo Mon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enzo Mon really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. After 44 played minutes Rosario FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Jokin. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Sanson to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Mon in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Ashford saved Guascan AFC from getting behind. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Rosario FC's Wilfredo Piarres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Ashford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Godfredo Sanson sped through Guascan AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidney Ashford. A collision led to Rosario FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leopoldo Foro hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Godfredo Sanson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Sidney Ashford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Sanson in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Ashford saved Guascan AFC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Rosario FC were awarded a corner. Godfredo Sanson went to the cornerflag to take it. Roman Remir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sidney Ashford. Guascan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rosario FC had played much better football throughout.
