The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Chinto got free with Rene Raymundo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Cristofor's late challenge caught a San chunito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. Ermegildo Cristofor hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Jeronimo Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 77th minute of the match Ermegildo Cristofor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ermegildo Cristofor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rene Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Chinto in the 83rd minute of the match. Jeronimo Chinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Raymundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San chunito had played much better football throughout.
