To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tadeo Uhin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Pigüé's protests and gave Tadeo Uhin a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Uhin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes, Cristobal Ostadar made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C.Pigüé's Marcial Tajo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Raymundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Frisco in the 17th minute. Marcial Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Sativa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Martxot came free, but Higinio Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Cristobal Ostadar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcial Tajo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Ciro Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The F.C.Pigüé players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sativa F.C were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Martxot to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes F.C.Pigüé got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Frisco. The supporters of Sativa F.C booed when F.C.Pigüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sativa F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sativa F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
