Rigoberto Ekialde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Carnerillo's Santos Borre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Grabiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Altamirano FC's Enzo Nayely got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Carnerillo booed when Altamirano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Santos Borre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnerillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Borre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Grabiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Carnerillo's Cornelio Clis got a free kick in the 24th minute. Severo Sein hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Angel Grabiel stood somewhat misplaced when Santos Borre came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Santos Borre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angel Grabiel came out and tried to block the shot, but Santos Borre slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. In the 42nd minute, Santos Borre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angel Grabiel. The goal made the score 4-1. When Aaron Darien came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Carnerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Darien couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Manex to make the kick off. Santos Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Borre in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Grabiel saved Altamirano FC from getting behind. Bonifacio Argina hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Severo Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Altamirano FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Guillelmus. In the 60th minute, Santos Borre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Altamirano FC's Angelino Manex slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rigoberto Ekialde. That made the score 4-2 after 62 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Carnerillo's Aaron Darien got a free kick in the 65th minute. Altamirano FC's Angel Grabiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Darien in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Santos Borre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Grabiel was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Angel Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Borre in the 78th minute of play. Enzo Nayely charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Nayely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santos Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Grabiel having to interfere. Carnerillo's Santos Borre managed to work through Altamirano FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santos Borre dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Angel Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Borre in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Clis during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Cornelio Clis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carnerillo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
