Geronimo Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Tello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Piarres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Lizer having to make a save. After 17 played minutes Meninos da Vila Belmiro got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Gaitano. In the 18th minute of the match Mauricio Ereinotz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Lizer skillfully saved the ball. Pablo Baladi might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Oxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Lizer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dante Tello made the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Tello in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Dante Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Meninos da Vila Belmiro got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Acuña. 64 minutes into the match, Benito Piarres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geronimo Lizer, 1-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Piarres couldn't finish the play. Juguemos Sin Saber FC's Dante Tello got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Juguemos Sin Saber FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Meninos da Vila Belmiro.
