In the 71st minute Roque Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Paio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Feliciano Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Roque Rumaldo made a precise shot to the right of Elias Paio. El Porvenir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Florida booed when El Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The El Porvenir supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Porvenir would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
