Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 148) Teobaldo Aguirre came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapallar's Rodriguinho Lopes. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Apolo Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Mario Chan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guañizul's Teobaldo Aguirre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Chan spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Guañizul's goal. In the 15th minute, Apolo Fonda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zapallar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Guañizul's zone, Mario Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Aguirre came out of the goal and Mario Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Zapallar's Paulino Etxepare got control of the ball when Nestor Reynardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulino Etxepare had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pedro Tolino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zapallar's Paulino Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Tolino in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guañizul's goalkeeper Teobaldo Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teobaldo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Lopes in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guañizul's Albano Gaitano got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rodriguinho Lopes's late challenge caught a Guañizul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodriguinho Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Fonda came free, but Teobaldo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Fonda in the 38th minute of play forced Guañizul's goalkeeper Teobaldo Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The Guañizul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zapallar were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Chan to make the kick off. Mateo Argider kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapallar's goalkeeper Paulino Etxepare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Albano Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Zapallar and the Guañizul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zapallar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Paulino Etxepare had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Tolino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mario Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Aguirre having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Leonel Alonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zapallar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guañizul the free kick. Leonel Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Paulino Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Gaitano in the 71st minute of the match. When Rodriguinho Lopes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. Rodriguinho Lopes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nestor Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Victorio Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Paulino Etxepare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Gaitano in the 90th minute of play. Paulino Etxepare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Gaitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Teobaldo Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, one of Zapallar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paulino Etxepare came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Guañizul's Pedro Tolino. But to his dismay, Pedro Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Guañizul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zapallar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
