Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cornelio Ourente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Beti in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Jerold saved Agronomía FC from getting behind. Agronomía FC's Vicente Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Beti in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Agronomía FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Unai. In the 11th minute Osvaldo Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Laurgain in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Pujol saved Colores FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Cornelio Ourente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Beti in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Colores FC booed when Agronomía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Marcos Loreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Jerold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedicto Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vicente Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benedicto Beti came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Colores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Beti couldn't finish the play. If Osvaldo Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Pujol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Laurgain went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Ourente to make the kick off. When Erasmo Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Agronomía FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Laurgain couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Benedicto Beti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vicente Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ourente in the 59th minute of play. Benedicto Beti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Jerold having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Ourente in the 63rd minute of play forced Agronomía FC's goalkeeper Vicente Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornelio Ourente's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Martin Pujol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Pujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Frichoso in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Laurgain in the 74th minute of play forced Colores FC's goalkeeper Martin Pujol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Ourente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Jerold was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Agronomía FC's Delmar Rivas got a free kick in the 81st minute. Agronomía FC's Vicente Jerold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Agronomía FC from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the match, Colores FC's Cornelio Ourente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Jerold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agronomía FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
