Spectators: 7143 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) Agronomía FC's Erasmo Laurgain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when Guañizul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Honorio Veronica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teobaldo Aguirre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Tolino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Jerold. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agronomía FC's goalkeeper Vicente Jerold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vicente Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Vicente Jerold throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pedro Tolino in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nestor Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vicente Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Jacobo Egun in the 25th minute really tested Vicente Jerold's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pedro Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vicente Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Agronomía FC's Honorio Veronica got a free kick in the 29th minute. Pedro Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Jerold having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Pedro Tolino took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Vicente Jerold to make any attempt to save it. Nestor Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vicente Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tolino in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Reynardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Nestor Reynardo, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Nestor Reynardo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Jerold. When Pedro Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Guañizul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Tolino couldn't finish the play. Nestor Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Nestor Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Jerold having to interfere. A collision led to Guañizul getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedro Tolino hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Teobaldo Aguirre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd minute, Pedro Tolino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Jerold was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 88 minutes into the game, Delmar Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agronomía FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guañizul the free kick. After 88 played minutes Agronomía FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Rivas. 91 minutes into the match, Agronomía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Reynardo came free, but Vicente Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Timo made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Guañizul's Jaime Checa. Pedro Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nestor Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Guañizul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
