The supporters of El Porvenir booed when Rossi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Enol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Porvenir's zone, Uriel Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Paio came out of the goal and Uriel Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Salvator having to interfere. Clodoveo Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hernan Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Hernan Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Porvenir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Tristan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of El Porvenir booed when Rossi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Uriel Nesor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Paio. El Porvenir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Nesor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Elias Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Uriel Nesor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Elias Paio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. El Porvenir's Elias Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Llorenc in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Emmanuel to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rossi FC's Aristides Txema got a free kick in the 52nd minute. El Porvenir's Hernan Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elias Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Nesor couldn't finish the play. Leonides Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Elias Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Leonides Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossi FC's goalkeeper Hernan Salvator, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Rossi FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Rossi FC's Uriel Nesor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonides Llorenc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Paio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Leonides Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Llorenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Paio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leonides Llorenc came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rossi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Llorenc couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, El Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Llorenc came free, but Elias Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Llorenc in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Paio saved El Porvenir from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, El Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Llorenc came free, but Elias Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Porvenir players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rossi FC.
