Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Clodoveo Emmanuel made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, El Porvenir's Elias Paio got control of the ball when Benedicto Beti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Porvenir's goalkeeper Elias Paio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute Hernan Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to El Porvenir getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jorge Handi hit a great ball. When Colores FC's Cornelio Ourente in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Porvenir's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute of the match Colores FC got a corner. El Porvenir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Loreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elias Paio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Beti in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Colores FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Qwinton. Clodoveo Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Pujol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Ourente in the 31st minute of play forced El Porvenir's goalkeeper Elias Paio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Colores FC's Cornelio Ourente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Paio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Martin Pujol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Colores FC's Cornelio Ourente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Paio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Ourente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benedicto Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Colores FC's Benedicto Beti in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Porvenir's goalie prevented a goal. Hernan Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Silverio Asur fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colores FC's protests and gave Silverio Asur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, El Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Mel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Benedicto Beti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Beti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, El Porvenir's Anacleto Mel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Qwinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elias Paio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Clodoveo Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Clodoveo Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Paio came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Colores FC's Rogelio Senon. But to his dismay, Rogelio Senon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Senon during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Colores FC had played much better football throughout.
