An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Javiar in the 3rd minute of play forced Guañizul's goalkeeper Teobaldo Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ALMAGRO booed when Guañizul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Navarro during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Guañizul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Navarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Jeremias Garin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teobaldo Aguirre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Albano Gaitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th match minute, ALMAGRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Bernat to maneuver through the defense. Guañizul's Teobaldo Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Guañizul from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the ALMAGRO defense, Pedro Tolino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Ramond. The ALMAGRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Ramond should have stopped the shot. Teobaldo Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Behe, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ermegildo Ramond came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guañizul's Nestor Reynardo. But to his dismay, Nestor Reynardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goalkeeper Teobaldo Aguirre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Behe. Teobaldo Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Javiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ALMAGRO booed when Guañizul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Pedro Tolino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ALMAGRO's Ermegildo Ramond. Ermegildo Ramond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guañizul's Teobaldo Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Guañizul from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, David Behe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Teobaldo Aguirre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Reynardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ALMAGRO's Agustin Francho got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ambrosio Eleder hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Severino Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Nestor Reynardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Ramond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Albano Gaitano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermegildo Ramond, 1-4. After 66 played minutes Guañizul got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Tolino. 71 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when David Behe came free, but Teobaldo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guañizul's Victorio Filipo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Teobaldo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Confesor in the 78th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Guañizul's Nestor Reynardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Ramond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Teobaldo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Javiar in the 91st minute of the match. Agustin Francho made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anselmo Bernat immediately put the ball in play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guañizul eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
