Romeo Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Celso Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Abeita in the 13th minute of play. Laureano Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Romeo Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axtron's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Axtron's Romeo Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Kinsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lorenzo Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Terciero in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Axtron's Generoso Madaleno got a free kick in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Basualdo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Lorenzo Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Amador Terciero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axtron's Epifanio Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the C.A. Luzuriaga defense, Romeo Abeita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Kinsen. The C.A. Luzuriaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Kinsen should have stopped the shot. If Romeo Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Terciero in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match C.A. Luzuriaga got a corner. Axtron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abelardo Stephen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axtron were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
