The referee ignored Olascoaga's protests and gave Feliberto Cresitobalo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Olascoaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pikas's goalkeeper Alfredo Kismi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesus Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Mikeldi having to interfere. Marcelino Mikeldi came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pikas's Cosme Barros. But to his dismay, Cosme Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcelino Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Barros in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Feliberto Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Feliberto Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olascoaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Cresitobalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Mikeldi having to interfere. When Feliberto Cresitobalo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes Olascoaga got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Cresitobalo. Cosme Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Mikeldi having to interfere. Marcelino Mikeldi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Cosme Barros took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Marcelino Mikeldi to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute Cosme Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Mikeldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pikas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
