Casimiro Bastia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes, Miguel Rosalio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lomitas's Ciriaco Abadie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Miguel Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The supporters of Lomitas booed when La Whoneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Ermegildo Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Leonardo Hodei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Whoneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Daniel Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marteinn Birkisson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. La Whoneta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
