Bernardino Blasco hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Victor Raymond was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Detonados's Samuel Chale got a free kick in the 5th minute. Octavio Teyo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Filiberto Vasco sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Ponc, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Sánchez's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Ponc came free, but Ciriaco Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filiberto Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Deportivo Sánchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Vasco couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Loren in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos Loren might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Abeijon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Loren ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Deportivo Sánchez's Ciriaco Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Ponc in the 26th minute of play. If Santos Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Loren in the 30th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Sánchez's goalkeeper Ciriaco Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Loren scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Adrian Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Victor Raymond shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Teyo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Detonados's Arnoldo Argi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Valentin Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Geronimo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Ponc to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Loren in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Ponc in the 55th minute of play. Lucio Ponc hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Octavio Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Detonados's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Vasco came free, but Octavio Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Argi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match, Lucio Ponc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciriaco Abeijon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Vasco in the 71st minute of play forced Club Atlético Detonados's goalkeeper Octavio Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ciriaco Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Loren went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 80thth minute of the game Lucio Ponc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Sánchez's Ciriaco Abeijon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute Filiberto Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Detonados's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Gregory came free, but Octavio Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Argi's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Sánchez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Argi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atlético Detonados getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arnoldo Argi hit a great ball. Lucio Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ciriaco Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Santos Loren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ciriaco Abeijon, passed just outside the right post. Club Deportivo Sánchez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Lucio Ponc scored to the left of an out of position Ciriaco Abeijon, making the score, 1-3. 96 minutes into the match, Geronimo Gregory had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Teyo. Club Atlético Detonados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Gregory was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Club Atlético Detonados played a much better game than Club Deportivo Sánchez and deserved their victory. The Club Deportivo Sánchez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
