Jimeno Serafo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Feliz in the 41st minute. Amancio Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Macias in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Casino Futbol Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jimeno Serafo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Feliz's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Zarate es CADU's Edelmiro Feliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Serafo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Edelmiro Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jimeno Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Serafo having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Lázaro Ibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Feliz in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Serafo saved Casino Futbol Club from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Lázaro Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zarate es CADU's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Serafo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes, Edelmiro Feliz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Casino Futbol Club's Jimeno Serafo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Edelmiro Feliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casino Futbol Club's Jimeno Serafo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Casino Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Ganix came free, but Jimeno Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Feliz in the 85th minute of play. Armando Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jimeno Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Zarate es CADU were the better team. Zarate es CADU's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
