Marco Jobo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Filiberto Vasco sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Rene Pacorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Sánchez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leteque the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Club Deportivo Sánchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Urbez struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ciriaco Abeijon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leteque. Ciriaco Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Urbez in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benigno Urbez to make the kick off. Ildefonso Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Abeijon made a huge save. Geronimo Gregory's late challenge caught a Leteque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Gregory helped the player get up and apologised. Geronimo Gregory hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Filiberto Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Benigno Urbez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Abeijon was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Filomeno Milian hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Marco Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Gregory in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Benigno Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Club Deportivo Sánchez got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Txartiko. After 86 minutes, Valentin Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Sánchez and the Leteque players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Sánchez's protests and gave Ildefonso Txartiko a yellow card for diving instead. Ildefonso Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Club Deportivo Sánchez's Ciriaco Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Sánchez from getting a goal against them.
