In the 15th match minute, SPORTIVO MAURI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Elodio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Gustau in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Serafo saved Casino Futbol Club from getting behind. In the 26th minute Arnaldo Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evelio Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casino Futbol Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Guido Mendez hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Evelio Gustau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casino Futbol Club's Jimeno Serafo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The SPORTIVO MAURI fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when SPORTIVO MAURI's Evelio Gustau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 0-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Evelio Gustau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half SPORTIVO MAURI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Macias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SPORTIVO MAURI's Camilo Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Gilabert in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Casino Futbol Club booed when SPORTIVO MAURI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Evelio Gustau could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Jimeno Serafo however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th match minute, Casino Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Felo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SPORTIVO MAURI's Arnaldo Jacob got a free kick in the 92nd minute. SPORTIVO MAURI played a much better game than Casino Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Casino Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
