Evelio Gustau kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ulises Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Iraido in the 9th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Bernardino Sal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes, Bernardino Sal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Billinghurst and the SPORTIVO MAURI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Billinghurst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Beat to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, SPORTIVO MAURI's Evelio Gustau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Evelio Gustau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Enzo Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ulises Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Billinghurst's zone, Evelio Gustau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Hulberto came out of the goal and Evelio Gustau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arnaldo Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTIVO MAURI's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Hulberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes, Evelio Gustau made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Billinghurst's Ulises Hulberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO MAURI's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Sal came free, but Camilo Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oscar Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Camilo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Jacob struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ulises Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO MAURI. Severiano Pio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Pio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Severiano Pio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Enzo Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evelio Gustau struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ulises Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO MAURI. Evelio Gustau scored 4-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Hulberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SPORTIVO MAURI getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Arnaldo Jacob hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gustau in the 96th minute of play forced Billinghurst's goalkeeper Ulises Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the SPORTIVO MAURI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
