After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Sánchez defense, Ciro Ongile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Abeijon. The Club Deportivo Sánchez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Abeijon should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Leizarraga hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciro Ongile kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciriaco Abeijon.
