Pedro Pasculli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Ignado having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Pedro Pasculli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DYP's Epifanio Ignado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Enekoitz in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Frente Para la Victoria's Artie Isaac. If Raul Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Quintyn took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Ignado. Epifanio Ignado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The throw-in from Cesar Euloxu in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Frente Para la Victoria's Ezequiel Hernandez. In the 28th minute, Pedro Pasculli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frente Para la Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Santo Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Pacorro in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Pasculli in the 39th minute of play forced DYP's goalkeeper Epifanio Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Arsenio Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Gasteiz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match DYP got a corner. Frente Para la Victoria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anselmo Ereinotz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of DYP booed when Frente Para la Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Pasculli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Pedro Pasculli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frente Para la Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pasculli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pedro Pasculli came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Frente Para la Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pasculli couldn't finish the play. When Pedro Pasculli came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Frente Para la Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pasculli couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Raul Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frente Para la Victoria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
