Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedicto Dantae started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Haroldo Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benedicto Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Festejar F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Dantae couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Festejar F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Markel. 13 minutes into the match, Festejar F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severino Min came free, but Maximiliano Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego22's Gaston Blai got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Benedicto Dantae made a precise shot to the right of Henry From. Diego22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Henry From made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Dantae in the 24th minute of play. Orlando Markel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Diego22's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benedicto Dantae's late challenge caught a Diego22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Dantae helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Festejar F.C.'s Benedicto Dantae got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Teobaldo Panfilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diego22 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Maximiliano Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Blai in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Festejar F.C.'s zone, Orlando Markel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Vellito came out of the goal and Orlando Markel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Festejar F.C.'s David Bastiaro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Festejar F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Teobaldo Panfilo scored to the left of an out of position Maximiliano Vellito, making the score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 57 played minutes Diego22 got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Elizardo. Maximiliano Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Blai in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Gaston Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Markel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Vellito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Orlando Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diego22's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Blai in the 83rd minute of play forced Festejar F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Maximiliano Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Orlando Markel made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Vellito. Festejar F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Diego22 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
